Current Views on Ballroom Dance (A Series of Interviews)

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá jedním společenským fenoménem, a to tancem. Cílem je vytvořit sérii publicistických rozhovorů, které by potenciálně mohly být publikovány v magazínu Ona DNES. Autorským záměrem je představení společenského tance (respektive tanečního sportu) z různých perspektiv. Práce je rozdělena na několik hlavních částí. První část, kontextuální, se pokusí nastínit původ tance a představit ho ve vztahu ke společnosti, tedy vyložit společenskou úlohu tance v historii i současnosti. V teoretické části bude na základě odborné literatury vymezen zvolený žánr – interview. Metodologická část popíše novinářský postup při tvorbě rozhovoru. Následující kapitola se bude zabývat cílovým médiem; jednak se bude věnovat profilu zvoleného média, jednak shrne poznatky získané při návštěvě redakce. Poslední část bude tvořit zhodnocení autorčiny tvůrčí aktivity realizace publicistických rozhovorů. Vlastní žurnalistický výstup, publicistické rozhovory, budou součástí příloh.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on one social phenomenon – dance. The aim of this thesis is to create a series of interviews conducted with people connected to dance that could potentially be published in the Ona DNES magazine. The author’s intention is to present ballroom dance (as well as dance sport) from different perspectives. The thesis is divided into several main chapters. The first one (called contextual) will try to outline the origin of dance as well as introduce its importance to society – both in history and from a current perspective. The next chapter will define the chosen genre – interview. The chapter about the used methodology will explain how a journalist must work during the process of conducting an interview. The following chapter will be devoted to the target medium. The last part will summarize the whole thesis and review the author’s own fulfilment of prior intentions. The interviews will be included in the attachments.
