Tato práce analyzuje romány Anny Brontëové- Agnes Grey (1847) a The Tennant of Wildfell Hall (1848). První kapitola se zabývá hlavní hrdinkou románu The Tennant. Sleduje její proměnu z tradiční, viktoriánské dívky v moderní a nezávislou ženu. Zahrnuje také práva a postavení žen ve společnosti. This Bachelor thesis analyses novels of Anne Brontë- Agnes Grey (1847) a The Tennant of Wildfell Hall (1848). The first chapter deals with the main character of The Tennant. It examines her change from traditional, Victorian woman into modern and an independent one. It also includes the rights and the position of contemporary women.
