Hlavným cieľom diplomovej práce je analýza vývoja EURIBORu v období od začiatku globálnej krízy a jej vplyv na tento vývoj. Diplomová práca je rozdelená na dve časti – teoretickú a praktickú. Kapitola v teoretickej časti rozoberá základné pojmy ako peňažný trh, medzibankový trh, jeho podstatu, subjekty, centrálnu banku, komerčné banky a medzibankovú úrokovú sadzbu EURIBOR.
