The Issue of Fine Motor Skills of a Ring Finger and a Little Finger

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku jemné motoriky u lidí s postižením prsteníku a malíku ruky. V práci jsou nejdříve zmíněna teoretická východiska, kde popisujeme anatomii, kineziologii a patokineziologii se zřetelem na prsteník a malík. Následně uvádíme vybraná onemocnění a poranění daných prstů se základními cíli a možnostmi terapie pro ergoterapeuty. V praktické části jsou zpracovány dvě kazuistiky s proběhlou terapií, kde srovnáváme možnosti terapie. Další tři kazuistiky, pacientů s různými typy amputací prstů, zobrazují míru omezení jemné motoriky. Zde hraje roli výška amputace, dominance končetiny a doba od amputace.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of fine motor skills of a ring and little finger. The first part of the thesis is theoretical and it describes anatomy, kinesiology and pathokinesiology with the focus on ring and little fingers. The next part of the thesis sets out selected disorders and injuries of the fingers and also basic aims and possibilities of therapies for occupational therapists. The practical part presents two case studies with finished therapies and it compares possibilities of therapies as well. Other three case studies of patients with various types of amputations of fingers represent the level of limitations of their motor skills. In these cases the height of amputation, the dominance of limb and time since amputations are of key importance.
