Bakalářská práce se snaží objasnit pojmem a funkci archivů ve všeobecné rovině a také historii českých archivů. Tomuto tématu je věnována první polovina bakalářské práce. Druhá polovina je věnována hlavní části této bakalářské práce, která se zabývá vznikem a vývojem Státního okresního archivu v Chrudimi od jeho vzniku v roce 1955 až po současnost. This bachelor paper tries to clarify concept and function of archives in general and the history of Czech archives too. This topic is devoted to the first half of the bachelor paper. The second half is devoted to the main part of the bachelor paper, which deals with foundation and development of the State district archive in Chrudim since its foundation in 1955 until the present.
