Cyberspace as a phenomenon warfare

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou v oblasti kybernetické bezpečnosti. Zkoumá pozitiva a negativa digitálního prostředí. Hlavním cílem práce je poskytnout ucelenou představu o kybernetickém světě, problematice internetového prostředí zejména kybernetické útoky, kybernetické válčení, dezinformace v informačním prostředí a upozorňuje na nebezpečí, která plynou z problematiky kybernetického světa. První část práce je zaměřena na vymezení pojmů bezpečnosti, kybernetické bezpečnosti, popisuje legislativní vývoj a současné nastavení rámce pro EU a ČR. Zabývá se vládními a nevládními organizacemi a týmy, které participují v problematice kybernetické bezpečnosti. Druhá část práce obsahuje praktickou část, která rozebírá informační prostředí a kybernetické válčení na reálných případových studií. Závěrečná část práce je analýza chronologicky seřazených článků, které se zabývají kybernetickými útoky. Nashromážděná data odkrývají směr, vývoj kybernetických útoků a odpoví na výzkumné otázky. Výzkumné otázky poskytují návod na rezistenci před kybernetickými útoky, manipulací a predikují vývoj kybernetických útoků na nadcházející období.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with issues in the field of cyber security. It explores the positives and negatives of the digital environment. The main objective of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive picture of the cyber world, the issues of the internet environment, especially cyber attacks, cyber warfare, disinformation in the information environment and highlights the dangers arising from the cyber world. The first part of the thesis is focused on the definition of the terms security, cyber security, describes the legislative development and current setting of the framework for the EU and the Czech Republic. It deals with governmental and non-governmental organizations and teams that participate in cyber security issues. The second part of the thesis contains a practical part that discusses the information environment and cyber warfare on real case studies. The final part of the thesis is an analysis of chronologically ordered articles that deal with cyber attacks. The collected data reveals the direction, development of cyberattacks and answers research questions. Research questions provide guidance on resistance to cyber attacks, manipulation and predict the development of cyber attacks for the coming period.
