Abstract:

Perspektivy a zkušenosti Romských žen na trhu práce na Ostravsku Diplomová práce ( 28 610 slov základního textu) se zaměřuje na problematiku uplatnění romských žen na trhu práce. V teoretické části mapuje problematiku statusového a genderového znevýhodňování v souvislosti s participováním na trhu práce, zejména však diskriminaci z důvodů rasy. V závěru teoretické části představuje autorka koncept životních drah (life-stories), který umožní sledovat chování a strategie romských žen na trhu práce v konkrétních sociálních podmínkách. Poznávacím cílem této práce přiblížit životní zkušenosti a perspektivy vybraných romských žen na trhu práce na Ostravsku. Situace respondentek na trhu práce je rámována diskriminací, marginalizací a kumulací znevýhodnění v přístupu k zaměstnání. Na druhé straně romské ženy nejsou pouhé pasivní oběti, nýbrž aktivní hráčky na poli zvaném trh práce, které do určité míry mohou ovlivnit své směřování. V rámci empirické části autorka zkoumala osm romských žen pomocí hloubkových rozhovorů. Volba biografického designu v kombinaci s životním příběhem pomohla autorce nahlédnout do „kuchyně“ respondentčiných domácností. Umožnila jí rozkrýt pozadí jejich aktuálních pozic na trhu práce a perspektiv do budoucnosti.

Abstract:

Perspectives, experience and discrimination of Romany women at the labour market in the region of Ostrava This graduation thesis (28 610 words of key text) is focused on problems of Romany women with assertion at labour market. The theoretical part covers problems of status and gender disadvantages in relation with participation at labour market especially discrimination against race. The author presents life stories concept which allows to watch action conduct and strategies of Romany women at labour market in concrete social terms at the close of theoretical part. The cognitive goal of these study is to approximate life experiemence and perspective of chosen Romany women at Ostravaś labour market. The situation of respondents is associated with discrimination, marginalization and accumulation of disadvantages at access to labour market. On the other hand the Romany women aren´t the pure victims but they are also active players in the so called field of labour market which can partly influence their own direction. The author investigate eight Romany women using interview in the body of empirical part. Choosing biografy design in combination with life-story help the author to look inside the respondentś home. This choice helped author to ditect the background of their actual position at labour market and perspective to the time to come.
