Reaction of the drugs abusers on phenomenon Designer drugs in Brno city

Abstract:

Diplomová práce ,,Reakce drogových uživatelů ve městě Brně na fenomén Designer drugs“ pojednává o pohledu vybraných uživatelů psychoaktivních látek na fenomén nových syntetických drog a o jejich zkušenosti s těmito substancemi. V teoretické části je práce zaměřena na vymezení základních pojmů potřebných pro určení a pochopení širšího kontextu, kam tyto látky náleží. Pojem designer drugs/nové syntetické drogy je pak přesně definován a charakterizován v následující kapitole. Pozornost je věnována specifikům, jako je výroba, distribuce a související legislativa. Teoretický rámec dále doplňuje kapitola zaměřená na současný stav v ČR, která vychází ze dvou expertních rozhovorů. Kvalitativní výzkum si dává za úkol proniknout do prostředí fenoménu designer drugs skrze pohled vybraných uživatelů a zjistit jejich postoje na jeho aspekty. Práce je zaměřena na respondenty z řad uživatelů, kteří jsou v pomyslné první linii popisované problematiky a proto jsou významnými zdroji potenciálně cenných informací.

Abstract:

This thesis ,,Reaction of drug users in Brno to the phenomenon of Designer drugs discusses the view of selected users of psychoactive substances on the phenomenon of new synthetic drugs and their experiences with these substances. In the theoretical part is the work focused on defining the basic concepts necessary to identify and understand the broader context of where these substances belong. The concept of designer drugs/new synthetic drugs is then precisely defined and characterized in the following chapter. Attention is put on the specifics, such as production, distribution, and related legislation. Theoretical part is followed by a chapter focused on the current situation in the Czech Republic, which is based on two expert interviews. Qualitative research intends to get an inside perspective of the environment (the phenomenon of designer drugs) through the view of selected users and determine their attitudes. The work is focused on the respondents among users who are in the imaginary first line of the topic covered and therefore are important sources of potentially valuable information.
