The paper deals with the approach of the European Union or the approach of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Czech Republic to the nuclear disaster in Fukushima. Práce se zabývá postojem Evropské unie resp. postojem Spolkové republiky Německo a České republiky k jaderné energii po katastrofě ve Fukušimě. Hlavním cílem práce je popsání a srovnání reakcí těchto dvou států na vzniklou situaci a to s ohledem na historický postoj států k jaderné energii před nehodou, ale zejména na politický a společenský vliv po nehodě.
