Macroeconomic Relevance of Inflation and its Evolution in Specific Countries

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Makroekonomický význam inflace a zhodnocení jejího vývoje ve vybraných zemích“ je analýza vývoje inflace v ČR a porovnání s vývojem na Slovensku ve vybraných letech po roce 1989 a její následná predikce. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola je zaměřena na pojem a ekonomický význam inflace, deflace, stagflace a dezinflace. Druhá kapitola se zabývá makroekonomickými souvislostmi a měřením inflace, jejím dopadem na ekonomiku a nástroji monetární politiky a fiskální politiky. Třetí kapitola se zabývá především analýzou a zhodnocením inflace ve vybraných zemích. Závěr této kapitoly je věnován především predikci možného vývoje inflace v ČR roce 2015.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis "The macroeconomic significance of inflation and appreciation of its development in selected countries" is an analysis of the evolution of inflation in the Czech Republic and a comparison with the development of the Slovak Republic in the selected year after 1989 and its subsequent prediction. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter focuses on the concept and economic importance of inflation, deflation, stagflation and disinflation. The second chapter focuses on macroeconomic context and measuring inflation, its impact on the economy and monetary policy tools of fiscal policy. The third chapter focuses on the analysis and evaluation and appreciation of inflation in selected countries. The conclusion of this chapter is dedicated to the prediction of possible inflation in the Czech Republic in 2015.
