The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of selected negative characters in Slovak and Estonian folk tales. It provides basic information about the two collectors – Pavol Dobšinský and Friedrich Reinhold Kreutzwald – and analyses occurance and behaviour of negative characters within the corpus of fairytales, based on the works of the collectors.
