Analysis of managerial skills within selected company

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je analýza manažerských dovedností v podniku EXTRUDO Bečice s.r.o. Práce je strukturována na dvě základní části. Teoretická část zahrnuje základní terminologii, která se vztahuje k danému tématu. Je zde uvedena základní charakteristika managementu, manažera, rozdělení manažerských funkcí, dovedností, vlastností i manažerské vzdělávání. V praktické části jsou prezentovány výsledky z průzkumu zaměřeného na analýzu manažerských dovedností. Nástrojem pro sběr dat byli následující metody: rozhovor a dotazník. Průzkum předkládá částečné výsledky vztahující se k posouzení úrovně dovedností manažerů a ke zhodnocení názorů manažerů, které manažerské dovednosti považují za nejvíce důležité. Tyto poznatky zodpověděly výzkumné otázky, které byly předpokladem pro nastínění návrhů na zlepšení současné úrovně manažerských dovedností v daném podniku. Během analýzy byly zjištěny určité nedostatky týkající se manažerských dovedností. V poslední části jsou návrhy opatření a doporučení pro daný podnik.

Abstract:

This bachelor's dissertation deals with the analysis of managerial skills in Company EXTRUDO Bečice Ltd. This dissertation is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part includes basic terminology connected with the topic. You will read the description of a manager, division of managerial functions, managerial skills, qualities and also managerial education. In the practical part are presented results from the survey focused on the analysis of managerial skills. The data collection tools were interview and questionnaire. The survey presents partial results, related to assessing the skill level of managers and evaluating the views of managers who consider management skills to be the most important. The practical outcomes of the survey which answered the research questions were necessary for further suggestions to the management in order to improve the level of managerial skills in the company. In the period of analysing the collected data, a shortage of some managerial skills was found. In the last part, there are suggestions and recommendations for the company.
