Analysis of Change management process in selected organization

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na řízení změn a proces jejich implementace v reálném prostředí. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnocení současného stavu procesu řízení změn ve vybrané organizaci a identifikace silných a slabých stránek tohoto procesu. Dalším cílem je potom navržení možných způsobů optimalizace tohoto procesu. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá problematikou řízení změn, možnými příčinami vzniku změn, jejich typy a oblastmi, ve kterých k nim ve firemním prostředí nejčastěji dochází. Pozornost je věnována také odporu ke změnám, který je nedílnou součástí procesu implementace změn, a možnostem jeho minimalizace. Značná část teoretické části práce se zaměřuje na vybrané modely a teorie řízení změn. Praktická část je tvořena vlastním kvalitativním výzkumným šetřením, jeho analýze a interpretaci výsledků.

Abstract:

This master´s thesis focuses on change management and the process of their implementation in a real environment. The main goal of the thesis is to evaluate the state of the process of change management in the selected organization and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the process. Another aim is to suggest ways to optimize this process. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with issues of change management, possible causes of changes, their types and the areas in which they occur most frequently in the corporate environment. Attention is also paid to resistance to change, which is an integral part of the process of implementing changes, and the possibilities of minimizing it. A large part of the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on selected models and theory of change management. The practical part consists of own qualitative research, its analysis and interpretation of results.
