Abstract:

Diplomová práce Modely pojetí smrti v antické filosofii a jejich paralely v antickém mýtu představuje jednotlivé modely smrti, které vycházejí z myšlenek vybraných antických filosofů. K těmto modelům následně paralelně připojuje jednotlivé antické mýtické příběhy, které popisují různé druhy a způsoby (ne)konečnosti individuální lidské existence. Cílem této práce je především srovnání modelů pojetí smrti dvou antických myšlenkových proudů a následné zjištění, na kolik byly propojeny cesty pojetí smrti v antickém mýtu a v antické filosofii.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis Models of Concepts of Death in Ancient Philosophy and Their Parallels to Ancient Myths presents individual models of death which are based on the ideas of selected ancient philosophers. Individual ancient mythical stories are added to these models describing different kinds and ways of non-finality of individual human existence. The aim of this thesis is to mainly compare concepts of death of two ancient streams and subsequent discovery of how the ways of the concepts of death were connected in ancient myth and ancient philosophy.
