Analysis of Hierarchy of Values in Individuals with Behavioral Disorders (Focused on Specific Behavioral Disorders) in Pubescence and Adolescence

Abstract:

Předložená rigorózní práce pojednává o problematice hierarchie hodnot u jedinců v období dospívání (konkrétně ve věku 10-19 let) s poruchami chování (se zaměřením na specifické poruchy chování). Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou (čili výzkumnou) část. Teoretická část je rozčleněna na čtyři kapitoly, empirická část obsahuje kapitolu jednu. V první kapitole se zabýváme speciální pedagogikou jako vědou, její historií a metodami (speciálními i výzkumnými). Také zde více do hloubky tematizujeme oblast poruch chování v širším slova smyslu. V druhé kapitole rozebíráme možnosti podpory jedinců s poruchami chování a jedinců se specifickými poruchami chování. Více se zaměřujeme na vliv rodiny (zejména rodiny dysfunkční), vliv školy a školských zařízení. V kapitole třetí se věnujeme osobnosti (jejím složkám) a vývoji jedince v období dospívání (tedy v prepubertě, pubertě a adolescenci). Specifikujeme si jednotlivá úskalí tohoto období. V kapitole čtvrté popisujeme a definujeme hodnoty, hodnocení, normy, postoje a hierarchii hodnot. Vysvětlujeme tyto navzájem propojené koncepty v souvislosti s různými teoriemi a výzkumy (zejména pak výzkumy hodnot a postojů). V empirické (výzkumné) části analyzujeme hierarchii hodnot (pomocí Rokeachova testu hierarchie hodnot) v souboru dospívajících jedinců s poruchami chování (resp. se specifickými poruchami chování). Tyto výsledky následně porovnáváme s dospívajícími jedinci bez poruch chování. Cílem je zjistit a popsat, jaké hodnoty jedinci s poruchami chování (či jedinci se specifickými poruchami chování) zastávají a tím chceme přispět k rozšíření poznatků o hodnotách a hodnotové hierarchii dospívajících jedinců s poruchami chování (respektive se specifickými poruchami chování). Uvádíme zde také možnosti využití Rokeachova testu hierarchie hodnot v praxi.

Abstract:

The presented thesis deals with the issue of the hierarchy of values in individuals during adolescence (particularly aged 10-19) with behavioral disorders and individuals with specific behavioral disorders. The work is divided into theoretical and practical (or research) part. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters, the empirical part contains one chapter. In the first chapter, we examined the special education as a science, its history and methods (special and research). We also found more in-depth focus on the area of behavioral disorders. In the second chapter, we discussed ways to support individuals with behavioral disorders and with specific behavioral disorders. More, we have focused on the influence of the family (especially dysfunctional family), the influence of schools. In the third chapter we focused on personality (and personality components) and the development of individuals in adolescence (concretely pubescence and adolescence). We also specified the various of this period. In chapter four we described and defined values, assessment, standards, attitudes and the hierarchy of values. Here we explained these specific concepts in the context of various theories and research of values. In the empirical (research) section we analyzed the hierarchy of values (with Rokeach values hierarchy test) in the adolescents with behavioral disorders (or with specific behavioral disorders). These results were subsequently compared with those without behavioral disorders. The aim was to identify and describe values of individuals with behavioral disorders (or with specific behavioral disorders). We wanted to advocate and contribute to the expansion of knowledge about values and value hierarchy adolescents with behavioral problems (or with specific behavioral problems). We also mentioned the possibility of using test Rokeachs hierarchy of values in practice.
