Characterization of organic electrochemical transistors

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na charakterizaci organických elektrochemických tranzistorů. Úvodní teoretická část práce se věnuje základním výrobním technologiím, které se používají při výrobě tištěné a organické elektroniky. Součástí je i popis vlastností konjugovaných vodivých polymerů potřebných pro výrobu organické elektroniky. V hlavní části je popsán samotný organický elektrochemický tranzistor, je zde popis principu jeho funkce, jeho materiálové konfigurace a porovnání s ostatními typy organických tranzistorů. Součástí je i výčet aplikací, ve kterých je možné tento tranzistor uplatnit. Další část se věnuje předpokladům pro charakterizaci organických tranzistorů, které vycházejí z normy IEC 62860-2013. Zaměřuje se rovněž na určení parametrů organického tranzistoru. Praktická část je zaměřena na návrh měřící metodiky a její experimentální ověření na sérii vzorků. Je zde popsána měřicí metodika, měřicí instrumentace a plán experimentálního ověření vlivu vlhkosti na tranzistorové chování. Poslední část se věnuje vyhodnocení výsledků získaných tranzistorových parametrů a prezentaci ověřených poznatků o vlivu vlhkosti na tranzistorové chování.

Abstract:

This master thesis is focused on characterization of organic electrochemical transistors. Theoretical introduction of this paper describes basic manufacturing technologies, which are used for fabrication of printed and organic electronics. In this part, there is also a description of properties of organic conjugated conductive polymers necessary for fabrication of organic electronics. Main part is about organic electrochemical transistor itself, namely description of principle, material configurations and comparison with other types of organic transistors. There is also a list of applications, in which this transistor may be used. Next part deals with assumptions for characterization of organic transistors, which are based on IEC 62860-2013 standard. It also aims at extraction of organic transistor parameters. Practical part is focused on the design of measuring methodology and its experimental verification on a series of samples. There is description of the measuring methodology, measuring instrumentation and the plan of experimental verification of the influence of humidity on the transistor behaviour. The last part is devoted to the evaluation of the results of the obtained transistor parameters and the presentation of verified knowledge about the influence of humidity on the transistor behaviour.
