Peoples life situation with schizophrenic illness and satisfying their needs

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo najít odpověď na otázku: Které charakteristiky životní situace lidí se schizofrenním onemocněním brání podle nich uspokojování jejich potřeb? V první části se zabývám pojmy, které mají vztah k hlavní výzkumné otázce. Jde o vysvětlení pojmů: schizofrenie, potřeby lidí se schizofrenním onemocněním, životní situace lidí se schizofrenním onemocněním. Pro výzkum jsem využila kvalitativní strategii – hloubkový a polostandardizovaný rozhovor. Získané podklady jsem interpretovala podle dílčích výzkumných otázek, které se ptají po jednotlivých dimenzích uspokojení potřeb lidí se schizofrenním onemocněním. Jde o dimenzi podpory, „osoby“, očekávání z hlediska přiměřenosti vůči potenciálu těchto osob a vzájemné relace mezi podporou a očekáváním. Poslední dílčí výzkumná otázka se ptala po nenaplněných potřebách tak, jak je vnímají sami respondenti. Ve své životní situaci respondenti nejčastěji upozorňovali na nedostatečné uspokojení jejich potřeb v oblasti práce a bydlení. Na poslední otázku respondenti reagovali lítostí nad nemožností prožít plnohodnotný život především v oblasti partnerských vztahů. Závěrem jsem shrnula získané poznatky a nastínila směr pomoci.

Abstract:

The aim of my bachelor´s thesis was to find out the answer for the question: What characteristics of people´s life situation with schizophrenic illness hinder them from satisfying their needs? In the first part I´m interested in notions which are related to the main research question. It is explanation of notions: schizophrenia, people´s needs with schizophrenic illness and life situations of people with schizophrenic illness. For my research I used a qualitative strategy – a depth and a semi-standardized interview. I interpreted the gained records based on a particular research questions, which are inquired for the particular dimensions of satisfying people´s needs with schizofrenic illness. These are dimension supports of „person“, expectations from perspective of adequacy on potential these people and interrelationship between a support and an expectation. The last particular research question was asked about underflow needs, as it is perceived respondents themself. In their life situation respondents refer the most deficiently to satisfaction to their needs in the area of job and living. The last question respondents responded with regret for impossibility to live full-value life above all in area partner relations. At the end I resumed the obtained knowledges and outlined way to help.
