The status of the prezident in constitutional system of Czech Republic and selective states

Abstract:

In the first part named general political delimitation of function of president in constitutional system this work deals with the definition of the head of state itself as well as its status in republics and monarchies, the institute of counter signature and responsibilities where there is a certain connection. The second part is devoted to the Czech constitutional development since 1918 till the presence, where the author the position of the head of state during the individual historical periods. In the third part the author describes the position of the head of state in the current constitutional system, especially the introduction the president into his function and his authorities while pointing some difficulties in the constitution of the Czech Republic. The rest is mainly about the position of the president in constitutional systems in the Slovakian republic, Germany and France. The author compares the position of the president in the Czech Republic with the countries while pointing to some similarities and nuances in their position.
