Bakalářská práce se zabývá charakteristikou jednotlivých druhů plastových odpadů, jejich základních vlastností , energetickým a materiálovým využitím . Hlavní část práce spočívá ve zpracování a vyhodnocení nakládaní s plastovými komunálními odpady ve městě Roudnice nad Labem a ve vyhodnocení ankety o postoji občanů v tomto městě ke třídění plastového komunálního odpadu.
