The Archiepiscopal Chapel in Ravenna
Abstract:
This thesis is dealing with Archbishopric chapel in Ravenna and it´s transformations from its origin until today and provides a valuable summary of historical documents. The thesis analysis the mosaic decoration of the chapel and puts it in the historical context of Ravenna in late antiquity and religious disputes of that time.
Abstract:
Táto práca sa zaoberá Arcibiskupskou kaplnkou v Ravenne a jej premenami od vzniku po dnes a poskytuje cenný sumár historických prameňov. Analyzuje mozaikovú výzdobu kaplnky a dáva ju do kontextu histórie Ravenny a náboženských sporov v neskorom staroveku.
