Inteligent packaging materials for using in foodstuff industry

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce svým obsahem cílí na výzkum a rozvoj obalových materiálů využívaných v potravinářském průmyslu. Soustředí se na historii obalových materiálů v potravinářství a problémy spojené s riziky, kterým je spotřebitel vystaven. Jádrem práce je sumarizace funkcí systému inteligentních obalů v porovnání s dnes již známými aktivními obaly. V závěru jsou v práci zmíněny taktéž nanotechnologie napomáhající zlepšení funkcí moderních obalových technik. Nanomateriály jsou však pořád ve fázi výzkumu a nejsou komerčně využívány. Celou práci uzavírají legislativní nařízení týkající se balení potravin.

Abstract:

The content of the bachelor's thesis aims at research and development of packaging materials used in the food industry. It focuses on the history of packaging materials in the food industry and the problems associated with risks for consumers. The main idea is to summarize the functions of the intelligent packaging system in comparison with the already known active packaging. Finally, nanotechnologies are also mentioned in the work, which are helping to improve the functions of modern packaging techniques. However, nanomaterials are still in the research phase and are not used commercially. The whole work is concluded by legislative regulations concerning food packaging.
