Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se svým obsahem zaměřuje na srovnání obecné-ho konceptu fenoménu městské guerilly s událostmi, jež se odehrály v Mosulu mezi lety 2016–2017. Součástí práce je vymezení guerilly a následně podrobnější rozebrání guerilly městské se všemi charakterizujícími prvky (strategie, technika, metody boje). Práce se od druhé půle přenáší do zmíněného města, kdy nechybí ani krátká historická zmínka a pád Mosulu. Následující část se již zaměřuje na samotný průběh konfliktu, soustředěním se na městskou guerillu Islámského státu a používanými způsoby boje. V závěru díky získaným poznatkům obecného konceptu a případové studie je možné dojít k vzájemnému porovnání a vyvození tak požadovaného výsledku.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis focuses on a comparison of the general city guerril-la concept and events in Mosul in the years 2016 and 2017. A part of this thesis is also guerrilla limiting and then a detailed analysis of city guer-rilla with its characteristic elements (such as strategy, technic, fight methods). The second part of the text is focused on Mosul, briefly on its history and fall. This thesis then deals with the conflict’s actual process, concentrating on the town guerrilla of the Islamic State and the applied fight methods. Thanks to the observations achieved from the general concept and the case study, there is a comparison of both models in the conclusion.
