The bildungsroman of the German - speaking coutries of the 19th and 20th century

Abstract:

In this bachelor work I wanted to bring near the term of the bildungsroman. I concentrated my attention on the general definition and on the development of the bildungsroman during the realism and after the second world war. I compared the novels Green Henry by Gottfried Keller and The Short Letter at the Long Parting by Peter Handke.The purpose of this work was to find the potential differences or correspondences.

Abstract:

Touto prací jsem se snažila přiblížit téma bildungsrománu, přičemž největší pozornost jsem soustředila na tento literární žánr v období realismu a v období po druhé světové válce. V centru mého zájmu stál román od Gottfrieda Kellera Zelený Jindřich a od Petera Handkeho Krátký dopis na dlouhé rozloučení. Cílem práce bylo oba romány porovnat a najít eventuální rozdíly či shody.
