Compositions of The Beatles in Arrangements of Jazz Musicians
Abstract:
Anotace Bakalářská práce „Skladby The Beatles v aranžmá jazzových hudebníků“ pojednává o tom, jakým způsobem aranžovali a interpretovali vybraní jazzoví hudebníci jednotlivé skladby britské hudební skupiny The Beatles. Pomocí analýzy skladeb v originálu i cover verzi se snaží identifikovat improvizační výrazové prostředky jazzových interpretů.
Abstract:
Annotation Bachelor thesis “Compositions of The The Beatles in Arrangements of Jazz Musicians” deals with arrangement methods and interpretations of particular songs of the British music band The Beatles by various jazz musicians. It strives to identify improvisational means of expression of jazz performers by analyzing original songs and their covers.
