What does it mean "prestige consumption" in the Czech republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem „Co se rozumí pod pojmem prestižní spotřeba v ČR“ zkoumá, co konkrétně je obsahem tohoto pojmu v kulturním prostředí České republiky. Práce se tedy zabývá analýzou prestižní spotřeby na území České republiky, a to se zaměřením na generační skupiny. V první části práce je prostor věnován vysvětlení tohoto pojmu a jsou zde uvedena také některá data z historie prestižní spotřeby se zaměřením na období před rokem 1989, kdy byly v České republice nastoleny podmínky z hlediska prestižní spotřeby zcela nespecifické. Dále je v práci popsáno dělení prestižní spotřeby. V navazující části práce je prováděn výzkum, který zjišťuje, jaké jsou rozdíly ve vnímání prestižní spotřeby mezi mužskou a ženskou populací či mezi generačními vrstvami. Součástí tohoto výzkumu je také provedení sondy, která se týká prestižní spotřeby u dětské populace a dospívající mládeže. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zkoumání důvodů a důsledků prestižní spotřeby v České republice. Práce by tedy měla odhalit, jaké negativní a jaké pozitivní důsledky s sebou prestižní spotřeba pro společnost přináší.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis titled "What is meant by the prestigious consumption in the Czech Republic" examines what exactly is the content of this concept in the cultural environment of the Czech Republic. The thesis analyzes the prestigious consumption in the Czech Republic, with a focus on generational groups. The first part is a space dedicated to the explanation of this concept and are presented some data from the history of the prestigious consumption, focusing on the period before 1989, when they were raised in the Czech Republic conditions in terms of prestige consumption entirely nonspecific. Next the thesis describes division prestigious consumption. In the next part of the work carried out research which investigates the differences in perception of prestige consumption between male and female population, or between generational levels. Part of this research is also to implement the probe, which concerns prestigious consumption in the pediatric population and adolescents. The main aim of this thesis is to investigate the reasons and consequences of prestigious consumption in the Czech Republic. The thesis should therefore reveal the negative and positive consequences of which carry the prestigious consumption for the company delivers.
