Anotace:

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the aspects of sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in a hotel and see if it has a positive impact towards the enterprise and to the behaviour of consumers. In the first part of the thesis, the emphasis is made more on a theoretical level. Understanding the terminology at hand is a key to understand the concept behind this new trend that is making the world take a turn in the right direction; the direction towards sustainability and CSR activities. With an approach towards Accorhotels and a study made with quota sampling, results are given. In conclusion the thesis will wrap things up by answering the question that motivated this research paper. Does corporate social responsibility affect the consumers’ behaviour in the hospitality industry? Through the pages of this research paper there will data pushing us to this answer in which the enterprise will benefit from the platnet well being and will influence on guests behaviour and positive revenue impact.
