Cílem této bakalářské práce je prozkoumat jazyk anglických časopisů pro ženy a jeho variety v sociolingvistickém kontextu. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část popisuje obecné rysy ženských časopisů se zaměřením na jazykové prostředky, které jsou pro ženské časopisy typické.
