Analysis of Mechanical Properties of the Structural Joint

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá modelováním a simulací statických nelineárních problémů/úloh. Simulace jsou připravovány a řešeny v programu Siemens NX. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty některé principy stojící za funkcí dnešních výpočetních programů, jsou zmíněny základní materiálové charakteristiky materiálů a teorie tření. Dále je rozebrána problematika metody konečných prvků se zaměřením na tvorbu sítě konečných prvků a také na řešení kontaktních problémů. V praktické části jsou pak zkoumány návrhy pro pružný spoj hřídele a dílu s průchozí dírou za pomocí konečně-prvkové analýzy. Na základě výsledků analýzy je pak geometrie spoje postupně zdokonalována. Je řešena pevnost dílu hřídele a také samosvornost spoje. Výsledkem je geometrie spoje splňující oba požadavky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with modeling and simulation of static non-linear problems. Simulations are prepared and solved in the program Siemens NX. In the theoretical part, there are summed up some of the principals that are behind today's numerical methods. Material characteristics and theories regarding friction are also mentioned. Next, the subject of finite element analysis is discussed, with a focus on meshing and solving contact problems. In the practical part, designs of elastic connection between a shaft and part with a through-hole are examined using finite element analysis. The geometry is gradually improved based on the analysis results. Solidity and self-locking of the connection is examined. The result is a geometry satisfying both conditions.
