Management of Receivables in Chosen Company and Suggestion for Improvement

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou řízením pohledávek v konkrétním podniku. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny pojmy z oblasti pohledávek, a to od jejich vzniku až po jejich zánik. Dále je popsán celý proces řízení v teoretické rovině. V praktické části je konkrétní podnik představen a jsou popsány procesy řízení pohledávek, od samotné prevence, monitorování a následného vymáhání. Součástí praktické části je analýza pohledávek, obratu a struktury, odpisů pohledávek a opravných položek za období 2016-2019. V návaznosti na analýzu byly identifikovány drobné nedostatky a následně navrženy možnosti zlepšení systému řízení pohledávek.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of debt management in a particular company. The theoretical part defines terms from the area of claims, from their origin to their termination. Then the whole process of debt management is described on the theoretical level. The practical part introduces a particular company and describes processes of debt management, from prevention, monitoring and subsequent collection. The practical part includes the analysis of claims, turnover and structure, write-offs of receivables and accounting adjustments for the period of 2016-2019. Based on the analysis, minor deficiencies were identified and subsequently possibilities for improving the debt management system were proposed.
