DNA Vaccine Against Influenza Virus

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá DNA vakcínami proti chřipkovým virům. Úvodní část je věnována historii chřipky a prvním vakcínám proti chřipce. Dále se zabývá stavbou virové částice, množení a mutací virů, nevyjímaje pojmy antigenní shift a drift. V práci je popsán průběh onemocnění, včetně imunologických odpovědí organismu na virus a laboratorní diagnostika chřipkových virů. Je zde zahrnutý i stručný přehled dosavadních typů vakcín. Stěžejní kapitola je věnována vývoji, výrobě DNA vakcín a imunologickým reakcím na vakcínu. V závěru práce se předkládá srovnání DNA a RNA vakcín a široké využití DNA vakcín.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with DNA vaccines against influenza viruses. Tuhé introductory part is devoted to the history of influenza and the first influenza vaccines. Furthermore, the structure of the virus particle, the multiplication and mutation of viruses, together with the concepts of antigenic shift and drift are explained. The work describes the progress of the disease, including the body's immune responses to the virus and laboratory diagnostics of influenza viruses. It also includes a brief overview of current types of vaccines. The main chapter is devoted to the development and production of DNA vaccines and immunological reactions to the vaccine. At the end, the work presents a comparison of DNA and RNA vaccines and the wide use of DNA vaccines.
