Abstract:
The diploma thesis is focused on the ribosomal three-way junction motif from Haloarcula marimortui (ribosomal helices 90-92) utilizing modern molecular dynamics methods. The objective of the diploma thesis was to characterize structural changes and dynamics of junction and residue U2587 that plays key role in accommodation of the tRNA in the A-site of the ribosome.
