Social representations of social work with people with mental illness by psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers

Abstract:

Práce se snaží odhalit zkreslené, nedostatečné, nebo záporné informace o sociální práci s lidmi s duševním onemocněním u psychiatrů, psychologů a sociálních pracovníků, které se mohou podílet na vzniku negativních, či nejasných sociálních reprezentacích o tomto oboru. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením základních pojmů a souvislostmi mezi nimi. Empirická část je postavena na interpretaci dat získaných kvalitativní výzkumnou strategií, která byla provedena technikou strukturovaného rozhovoru. Získaná data jsou interpretována dle otevřeného kódování, a to analýzou rozhovorů do vytvořených kategorií, subkategorií a dimenzí. Výsledkem práce je odhalení shodného vnímání SP psychiatry, psychology a sociálními pracovníky jako potřebného oboru při začleňování lidí s duševním onemocněním zpět do společnosti a v zlepšování jejich sociálního fungování. Z výzkumu vyplynula také důležitost spolupráce jednotlivých pomáhajících profesí. V závěru práce autorka odpovídá na hlavní výzkumnou otázku a navrhuje doporučení pro další výzkum a praxi.

Abstract:

The following thesis tries to reveal the distorted, low or negative information about social work with people with mental illness by psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers, which may contribute to the formation of negative or ambiguous social representations on this field. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts and the relationships among them. The empirical part is based on the interpretation of data obtained qualitative research strategy, which was implemented structured interview technique. The data are interpreted by open coding, and analysis of interviews into defined categories, sub-categories and dimensions. The result is the same perception revelation social work by psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers as required field in the inclusion of people with mental illness into society and to improve their social functioning. The research also revealed the importance of the cooperation of the helping professions. At the end, the author answers the main research question and proposes recommendations for further research and practice.
