The involvement of the STAT signaling pathway in the activation and proliferation of lymphocytes

This bachelor thesis summarizes the current knowledge of JAK/STAT intracellular signaling pathways in connection with B-lymphocyte activation and differentiation. B-lymphocytes provide specific immunity. Development of B-lymphocytes is controlled by the surrounding microenvironment in which interleukins are among the key regulators. Tato bakalářská práce shrnuje poznatky o JAK/STAT intracelulární signální dráze v souvislosti s aktivací a diferenciací B lymfocytů. B lymfocyty zajišťují specifickou imunitu. Jejich vývoj je ovlivněn mikroprostředím, ve kterém se mimo jiné nacházejí i interleukiny. Interleukiny jsou cytokiny a jsou rozpoznávány pomocí cytokinových receptorů I. a II. typu.
