Anotace:

My “MA” Thesis seeks to elaborate an analysis of the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe. The European countries experience the influx of Muslims into their continent immediately after the end of World War II. The Muslim migrants came from the Middle East, and former colonial territories in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean region. These migrants now make up the largest immigrants population in Europe which make Islamic religion the second largest religion in Europe. It is noted that Islam is a decentralised religion and majority of the Muslims are not organised at all. In this thesis I would give the reasons why most of the Muslims migrated to Europe, the treatment of Muslims in Europe, the creation of the Federation of Islamic Organizations (FIOE) in Europe, the program of FIOE, and the strategy. Most scholars conclude that terrorism is closely associated with Islam. This research will also be carried out to know the reactions of this organization concerning this issue. The thesis is going to use especially primary sources in Europe and also articles from academic journals are to be use to analyse the subject.
