Praxe Académica in students life from Minho

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis explores the effect that Praxe Académica has on the life of students of the University of Minho in Portugal, both negative, and positive. First two parts deal with describing the tradition itself, that includes explaining various terms, history of Praxe, hierarchy and particularities that belong to UMinho. The third part is then analysing the results of a survey distributed to the students of this university, directed on the influence that Praxe has on daily life of students, occurrence of negative phenomena oftentimes connected to this tradition, as well as positives resulting from active involvement in Praxe. Further, it also suggests various means of how the tradition can be adapted to the present day.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se soustředí na dopad, jež má Praxe Académica na život studentů univerzity Minho v Portugalsku, a to jak negativní, tak pozitivní. První dvě části se zabývají popsáním samotné tradice, zahrnují tedy vysvětlení různých pojmů, historii Praxe, hierarchii a specifika patřící právě k UMinho. Třetí čas poté analyzuje výsledky získané z dotazníku distribuovaného studentům této univerzity, zaměřujícího se na vliv Praxe na jejich každodenní život, hojnost negativních fenoménů často spojovaných s touto tradicí či pozitivní jevy z ní pramenící a dále navrhuje různé způsoby, jak by se dala přizpůsobit aktuální době.
