Ethically complicated topics from the perspective of kindergarten educators

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na eticky komplikovaná témata ve vzdělávání a výchově z pohledu pedagogů MŠ. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak tato témata vnímají pedagogové z praxe a studentky posledního ročníku studia učitelství pro MŠ na FPE ZČU, a zároveň jak se cítí být na práci s těmito tématy připraveni. Práce se v teoretické rovině věnuje etickým otázkám, problematice smrti, rozvodu, rodinného zázemí a dalším, které mají vliv na vzdělávání, výchovu a psychiku dětí. Teoretická část dále rozebírá možnosti rozvoje psychické odolnosti dětí a jejich podporu v emocionálním a sociálním vývoji. Objasňuje také možné dopady komplikovaných situací (jež je možno zařadit do skupiny eticky komplikovaných témat) na psychiku dítěte. Praktická část se zaměřuje na výzkumné šetření formou dotazníku a diskuze v rámci ohniskové skupiny. V závěru práce jsou prezentována doporučení vyplývající z výsledků šetření.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on ethically complicated topics in education and upbringing from the perspective of kindergarten teachers. The aim of the thesis is to find out how these topics are perceived by practicing teachers and final year students of teaching for kindergarten at FPE ZČU, and also how they feel prepared to work with these topics. The theoretical work deals with ethical issues, death, divorce, family background and other issues that affect the education, upbringing and psyche of children. The theoretical part further discusses the possibilities of developing children's psychological resilience and supporting them in their emotional and social development. It also explains the possible effects of complicated situations (which can be classified as ethically complicated topics) on the child's psyche. The practical part focuses on the research investigation in the form of a questionnaire and focus group discussion. The paper concludes with recommendations arising from the results of the investigation.
