Abstract:

The present bachelor thesis concentrates on translation text analysis of selected chapters from Andrea Pirlo's autobiography I Think Therefore I Play. The aim of the thesis is to find out which significant features characterize the genre of sport autobiography, specifically the autobiography of Andrea Pirlo and how to appropriately transfer them into Czech language. The thesis consists of three main sections. The first section provides the analysis of external and internal factors based on Christiane Nord's model of text analysis in translation. The second section contains the translation of selected chapters from the autobiography. The third, final section includes commentary on the process of translation.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na překladatelskou analýzu vybraných kapitol z autobiografie Andrey Pirla I Think Therefore I Play. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jakými signifikantními rysy se vyznačuje žánr sportovní autobiografie, konkrétně autobiografie Pirla a jak je možné je adekvátně převést do češtiny. Bakalářská práce se skládá ze tří hlavních kapitol. První kapitola obsahuje analýzu vnějších a vnitřních faktorů podle modelu Ch. Nordové. Druhá kapitola obsahuje překlad zvolených kapitol z autobiografie. Třetí, poslední kapitola poskytuje komentář k překladatelskému procesu.
