Awareness among women of toxic shock syndrome

Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je problematika menstruační formy Syndromu toxického šoku. V teoretické části je popsána anatomie a fyziologie ženského pohlavního ústrojí, menstruace, menstruační hygiena a menstruační pomůcky, onemocnění Syndrom toxického šoku jako takové, jeho příznaky, léčba i prevence. V části výzkumné zpracovávám data, která jsem získala metodou dotazníku. Zajímalo mě, jak jsou ženy informované o této možné komplikaci, zda znají její projevy i jak této nemoci předejít

Abstract:

My bachelor's thesis topic is disease toxic shock syndrome. The theoretical portion of anatomy and physiology describes the female reproductive system, to include the genital tract. It also goes into detail regarding menstruation and hygienic aids, as well as common complications one might experience in addition to preventative guidelines for Toxic Shock Symptom, more commonly referred to as TSS. During the course of my research I became aware of preventative measures as well as common symptoms a female in question can research in order to ascertain if they in fact can be suffering from the very dangerous TSS. I pondered if and how a female can be informed of of possible complications beforehand. I found through my research that many menstrual hygiene aids list a disclaimer in their packaging.
