Práce se věnuje problematice jiného výsledku hospodaření minulých let, který v se v české legislativě poprvé objevuje v roce 2013, kdy došlo ke změně vykazování významných oprav nákladů (výnosů), dále změny metody a první účtování o odložené dani z metody výsledkové na metodu rozvahovou, která neovlivní výsledek hospodaření běžného období.
