Financial analysis of the company

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je vysvětlení finanční analýzy na základě finančních výkazů. Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí. První část práce se zabývá teoretickou stránkou finanční analýzy a druhá část se zabývá praktickou stránkou finanční analýzy aplikovanou na daný podnik. Teoretická část poskytuje čtenáři, co je to vlastně finanční analýza, postup tvorby a možné alternativy pro tvorbu finanční analýzy. Seznamuji čtenáře se základními pojmy, se kterými se ve finanční analýze setkáme. Najdeme zde charakteristiku jednotlivých ukazatelů, které jsou nedílnou součástí tvorby finanční analýzy a poskytují nám informace, dle kterých můžeme ohodnotit finanční stav podniku. V praktické části Vás seznamuji s vybranou firmou, kterou je Zemjika s.r.o a představuji Vám majetkovou a kapitálovou strukturu podniku a následně aplikuji finanční analýzu. Výpočty realizuji na základě rozvahy, výkazu zisku a ztrát a příloh. Struktura této části začíná provedením horizontální a vertikální analýzy, která nám prozradí, zda se hospodaření podniku vyvíjí správným směrem. Následují poměrové ukazatelé, a to zejména ukazatelé rentability, aktivity, likvidity a zadluženosti. V závěru práce provádím zhodnocení podniku a užití analýzy z hlediska minulosti a současnosti a zaměřuji se na budoucí vývoj.

Abstract:

The theme of the thesis is an explanation of the financial analysis based on financial statements. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part deals with the theoretical aspects of financial analysis and the second part deals with the practical aspect of financial analysis applied to the enterprise. The theoretical part provides the reader with definitions and explanations of financial analysis, process design and possible alternatives for the creation of financial analysis. The work introduces the basic concepts used in financial analysis. We can find the characteristics of individual indicators, which are an integral part of the financial analysis creation and which provide us with information that can be used to assess the financial status of the company. The practical section introduces the selected company called Zemjika Ltd. The section then reveals the capital and capital structure. After that, the financial analysis is applied. Calculations are made on the basis of the balance sheet, profit and loss account and annexes. The structure of this section begins with implementation of horizontal and vertical analyses, which tell us whether the company is developing in the right direction. Finally, ratios - namely indicators of profitability, activity, liquidity and debt - follow. In the end, an evaluation is provided of the company as well as the business analysis use in terms of past and present, with focus on future developments.
