Analysis of bitcoin advertisements

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou bitcoinových inzerátů. V teoretické části se věnuje technologiím kryptoměn a metodám získávání znalostí z databází jako Data Mining, Text Mining apod. V praktické části práce je popsán vývoj aplikace pro získávání dat a jejich následná analýza. Používají se zde metody získávání znalostí z dat popsané v teoretické části práce. Na základě výsledků analýzy je provedeno formulování populačních tendencí při utrácení kryptoměn. Tyto tendence jsou porovnány s tendencemi při nakupování za FIAT měny. Vzniklé tendence jsou výsledkem diskuze, která je významnou částí práce. Cílem diskuze je odhadování tendencí, jejich porovnávání a odhady budoucího vývoje kryptoměn. Kryptoměny jsou v současné době velkým fenoménem a zároveň velkou neznámou. Proto je cílem této práce objasnit problematiku kryptoměn a naznačení tendencí populace při jejich utrácení.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis focuses on analysis of bitcoin advertisements. The theoretical part is focused on technology of cryptocurrencies and methods of knowledge acquisition in databases such as Data Mining and Text Mining. The practical part of the thesis is focused on describing development of an application for acquiring knowledge in databases and further analysis of that knowledge. Methods described in the theoretical part of the thesis are being used in the practical part. Based on the analysis of the data, population tendencies of spending cryptocurrencies are being described. These tendencies are then compared with population tendencies of spending FIAT currencies. The tendencies are a result of a discussion, which is an important part of the thesis. Goal of the discussion is to compare tendencies and create an estimate of the cryptocurrency future development. Cryptocurrencies are a huge phenomenon as well as a topic which hasn’t been discovered that much yet. Therefore, the main goal of this thesis is to educate on cryptocurrencies and formulate population tendencies of spending them.
