Creative Accounting - Use of Creative Accounting Techniques in the Selected Company

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou účetních výkazů na odhalení kreativního účetnictví a podvodů ve vybrané společnosti. Teoretická část bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na seznámení s kreativním účetnictvím a jeho technikami. Dále se zabývá motivací, proč je kreativní účetnictví využíváno. Práce také obsahuje ukázku celosvětových účetních skandálů, která jsou úzce spjata s kreativním účetnictvím a v neposlední řadě práce obsahuje i definici podvodů a jejich rizikových faktorů. V praktické části se již práce zaobírá analýzou jednotlivých účetních výkazů z různých podniků, které vybraná společnost spravuje a vysvětlení motivace využití metod kreativního účetnictví.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of financial statements to detect creative accounting and fraud in a selected company. Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on familiarization with creative accounting and its techniques. It also deals with motivation why creative accounting is used. The work also includes a sample of world accounting scandals, which are closely linked to creative accounting and last but not least, it also includes a definition of fraud and their risk factors. In the practical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of individual financial statements from different companies, which the selected company manages and explains the motivation of using creative accounting methods.
