Use of 3D scanning techniques for 3D hand prosthesis printing
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce popisuje návrh využití 3D skenovacích technik pro získání digitálních 3D modelů horní končetiny. Ty jsou následně upraveny a použity pro 3D modelování jednoduché kosmetické protézy horní končetiny. Takto vytvořený model je poté pomocí 3D tisku vytištěn a tím je získána velice levná alternativa standardní kosmetické protézy.
Abstract:
This thesis describes a method for the use of 3D scanning techniques to obtain digital 3D models of the upper limbs. These digital models are then modified and used for 3D modeling of a simple cosmetic upper limb prosthesis. This model can then be printed using 3D printing, making it a very cheap alternative to standard cosmetic prosthesis.
