Comparison of the occurrence of injuries between playing surfaces for floorball players

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na výskyt zranění mezi herními povrchy u hráček florbalu. Dílčím cílem závěrečné práce je popsat druhy herních ploch, zjistit četnost a druhy jednotlivých zranění na těchto plochách a vyhodnotit, na kterém z povrchů se jich stává nejvíce. K vyřešení stanoveného problému byl použit standardizovaný dotazník, který byl distribuován mezi florbalové hráčky v sezóně 2018/2019. Uvedena problematika byla řešena pomocí analýzy a následné interpretaci získaných dat z celkem 50 dotazníků. Z dosažených výsledků vyplývá, že při úrazech nemusí hrát hlavní roli druh povrchu, ale také jiné skutečnosti, jako např. způsobení úrazu jiným hráčem, vlastní neopatrnost nebo neočekávaný špatný pohyb. Nejčetnější úrazy byly úrazy dolních končetin, které se ze 70 % přihodily v hale.

Abstract:

The work focuses on the occurrence of injuries between game surfaces and floorball players. The main goal of the final thesis is to describe the types of game surfaces. I will determine the frequency and types of individual injuries on these surfaces. Finally, I evaluate on which surface the most injuries happen. A standardised questionnaire was used to resolve the problém. It was distributed among floorball players in season 2018/2019. I solved the main problem of the work by analyzing and interpreting data from 50 questionnaires. The results achieved show that the type of surface may not play a major role in accidents. There may be other facts, such as injuries caused by an opponent, sloppy way of playing or unexpected bad movement. The most common were injuries to the lower extremities, which from 70 % happened in the hall.
