Abstract:
Muzikál vznikl v USA jako forma populárního hudebního divadla. Základní složky muzikálu jsou tři: příběh, libreto a hudba. V mé diplomové práci bych se chtěl věnovat problematice muzikálu ve vztahu k Brnu. Hlavní zřetel bych chtěl věnovat Městskému divadlu Brno, jež se v současnosti svou kvalitou řadí mezi nejvýznamnější muzikálová divadla v Česku. Musical was born in the USA as a genre of popular music theatre. There are three essential components of musical: story, libretto and music. In my master´s diploma thesis, I would like to focus on musical in Brno. My master´s diploma thesis will concentrate especially on The Brno City Theatre.
