Inkscape and its Applications in the Computer Graphics Course at FAI, TBU in Zlín

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce popisuje prostředí a funkce vektorového programu Inkscape. Měla by sloužit jako příručka pro studenty do předmětu počítačové grafiky. Na úvod práce je stručný popis a vývoj samotné počítačové grafiky. Další část je zaměřena na popis programu Inkscape, kde je jsou uvedeny jeho výhody či nevýhody. Taktéž je zde uvedena nejnovější verze programu a její odlišnosti a novinky. Dále následují kapitoly, které jsou detailně zaměřené na nástroje a příkazy programu. Nechybí zde ani seznam a popis filtrů a rozšíření programu. V praktické části jsou umístěny ukázky praktických příkladů do výuky počítačové grafiky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis describes the environment and functions of the vector graphic editor Inkscape. It should serve as a manual for students of computer graphics. The introduction offers a brief description and development of computer graphics itself as a discipline. The following part focuses on the description of the program and to highlight its advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, the newest version of the program is analysed in relation to its differences and updated functions. The other chapters study tools and commands of the program. The list and description of filters and extensions is also included. Practical part of the thesis suggests examples of tasks that are appropriate and useful for students of computer graphics.
