Chronická lymfocytární leukemie je nejčastějším typem leukemie dospělých v západních zemích. Průběh tohoto onemocnění je velice variabilní, od indolentního až po agresivní. U velké části nemocných jsou přítomny rekurentní genetické aberace, jejichž vyšetření je důležité pro určení prognózy a léčby. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia is the most common type of adult leukemia in Western countries. The course of this disease is very variable, from indolent to aggressive. In a large proportion of patients, recurrent genetic aberrations are present, which are important for prognosis and treatment.
