PERCEPTION OF RUSSIAN MIGRANTS IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je věnována tématu ruské emigrace a jejímu vnímání obyvatelstvem České republiky. V první části práce jsou řešeny teoretické aspekty týkající se migrace, historie ruské emigrace a její charakteristika pro jednotlivá období, uvedeny hlavní faktory a motivy migrace, představeny právní normy a předpisy regulující migrace, a prozkoumána integrace ruského obyvatelstva na území České republiky spolu s faktory, které ovlivňují vnímání ruských přistěhovalců českým obyvatelstvem. V druhé části díla byly uvedeny výsledky vlastního výzkumu autora týkající se problematiky pobytu ruských emigrantů v Česku a vnímání ruských migrantů českým obyvatelstvem. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření byly zkoumány názory ruských migrantů na život v Česku, jejich možné problémy ve vztazích s místní populaci země. Kromě toho, byla provedena analýza výzkumu dotazníkového šetření české populace na téma jejich postojů k ruským přistěhovalcům s pohledem na pokračující politickou nestabilitou v mezinárodních vztazích mezi Ruskem a Evropskou unií, zejména státem České republiky.

Abstract:

individual periods, the main factors and motives of migration are presented, the legal norms and regulations of migration and the integration of the Russian population in Czech were examined, as well as factors that influence the perception of Russian immigrants by the Czech population. In the second part of the work, the results of the author's own research regarding the issue of the stay of Russian emigrants in the Czech Republic and the perception of Russian migrants by the local population were presented. The opinions regarding the Russian migrants and their possible problems in relations with the local population were investigated using a questionnaire survey. There was also presented the survey of the Czech population on the topic of their attitudes towards Russian immigrants with the background of ongoing political instability in international relations between Russia and the European Union, especially the state of the Czech Republic.
