Studium katodoluminiscence cerem aktivovaných scintilátorů se strukturou granátu
Cathodoluminescence study of cerium-activated scintillators with garnet structure
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem kodopování Ce, Gd a Ga epitaxních vrstev lutetito-hlinitého granátu (LuAG) na jejich katodoluminiscenční (CL) vlastnosti. Vrstvy s optimálním zastoupením Ce, Gd a Ga v mnohém svými CL vlastnostmi převyšují cerem aktivovaný LuAG, standardně používaný jako scintilátor v detektorech elektronů. Mezi nejpodstatnější zlepšení těchto CL vlastností patří výrazné potlačení …moreAbstract:
The effect of Ce, Gd and Ga co-doping on the cathodoluminescence (CL) properties of lutetium aluminium epitaxial garnet layers (LuAG) was studied in this diploma thesis. The Ce, Gd a Ga co-doped layers with optimized dopant content provide in many aspects better CL properties compared to the cerium activated LuAG, standardly used as a scintillator in electron detectors. Noticable suppression of the …more
