Prvá časť práce sa zameriava na stručnú históriu znalectva, dôvod zavedenia oceňovania a priblížime si majetok firmy. Majetok firmy sa rozčlení a poukáže sa na dôležitosť správneho ocenenia pre napredovanie firmy. Motorové vozidlá ako súčasť majetku firmy sa podieľajú na dosiahnutí ekonomických cieľov firmy.
